Sylvie Filion

My name is Sylvie Filion and I specialize in assisting buyers and sellers throughout Ottawa and surrounding areas. My services are offered in both official languages. I’ve worked on a few designations recently that have made me a Senior Specialist; helping seniors transition towards their next destination. I’m also a Certified Negotiation Expert.

I moved to Ottawa in 2013, and became a licensed Real Estate Agent in 2017. I was exposed to real estate at a young age due to my parents owning several investment properties. In the past 20 years, I’ve invested, renovated and sold many properties with my husband. I have 30+ years of experience in the customer service industry. I have great organizational skills, an appetite for knowledge and I am constantly updating my skills. Technology is an important factor in the real estate industry and I am committed to learning and applying the newest tools that will best serve my clients.

Born and raised in a small French community, I attended high school in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario and went on to earn 4 diplomas; Fish and Wildlife Technician, Forestry Technologist, Hairstylist and Compliance Payroll Practitioner. After a few years of owning my own businesses, I decided to pursue real estate sales as a career.

In my spare time, I enjoy bringing out my creative side with my paintings, baking amazing cakes, knitting and scrapbooking. Outdoor walks listening to books and podcasts are always a favourite as well. My love and passion for life shines through in everything I do!
