My clients and I have bought and sold hundreds of residential properties, as well as vacant lots and investment properties. Although there are many complex issues in buying and selling real estate, we’ve also enjoyed the process. Support from our Sutton Group Brokerage is also important. Personally, I enjoy helping people and applying our real estate system, here in Ontario.
I have a structural engineering degree from Carleton University (P.Eng.), and practiced for a number of years as a structural engineering consultant with Lamb, McManus Assoc’s in Calgary (note, as a real estate professional, I can’t wear an engineering hat any longer). The challenges were great as the project engineer on the first ‘AAA’ baseball stadium and grounds in Canada (the Calgary ‘Cannons’-part of the McMahon stadium complex), and other projects such as the site engineer on a 720 ft. post-tensioned, cast-in place bridge over the Bow River. There have been other interests too, such as my downhill skiing, where I was nationally ranked, was a junior ski champion and later raced on the World Pro tour.
