Jeffrey Ross – Biography
Born and raised in a farming community in Dorchester, Ontario, I learned the value of hard work, responsibility, and dedication at an early age. At 19, I joined the Royal Canadian Navy, beginning a forty-two-year career defined by service, discipline, and leadership that took me across Canada and around the world.
Throughout my career, I served on several Canadian and Allied Warships, fulfilling roles as both a Naval Radioman and a Naval Intelligence Officer. I studied Military Arts and Science at the Royal Military College of Canada, developing strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. My work is driven by curiosity, attention to detail, and a determination to deliver results, qualities I now bring to my real estate practice.
Having experienced numerous military relocations, I have a deep understanding of the challenges that come with moving, particularly the time constraints and pressures faced by military members and their families. I know how important it is to find the right home in the right area, and to do so efficiently and with confidence, whether military or civilian. This firsthand experience allows me to anticipate my clients’ needs and provide practical, timely solutions that lead to satisfaction and peace of mind.
I have lived in Ottawa for the past 17 years and have also lived across the country, giving me a strong appreciation for communities, neighbourhoods, and what truly makes a place feel like home. New to the real estate profession, I bring a people first mindset grounded in decades of leadership and service. My focus is always on listening, understanding individual circumstances and needs, and ensuring my clients feel supported throughout every step of the process.
Outside of real estate, I enjoy music, beekeeping, the outdoors, sports, and spending quality time with my two sons. At the core of my life and career is a strong commitment to people, professionalism, and results, principles that shape how I serve my clients and guide them toward successful real estate outcomes.
